The Hannover Messe is the world’s largest industrial fair with approximately 220,000 participants, 6,500 exhibitors, over 5 million meetings and 2,500 journalists. For the first time ever, Sweden will be a partner country at the fair where leading companies and startups will join forces there April 1 – 5, 2019.
A Swedish national pavilion of 1,200 square meters will be built up in one of the most central exhibition halls. The visitors will meet Swedish industry and automation – from research and development to finished products.
The Swedish national pavilion is supplemented by a number of satellites, of which the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre and Automation Region are responsible for a special automation pavilion. In addition, an automation day is arranged with lectures and other activities where Sweden’s national forces are further emphasized.
Unique meetings at the Hannover Messe
Now Automation Region and the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Center invite companies interested in participating. It gives a unique chance to showcase products and solutions at the world’s largest industrial fair.
Many of the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre’s customers are in place in Hannover and therefore this venture is quite right from a strategic perspective.
For Automation Region, which is working towards the vision of being the leading European innovation environment in 2026, the Hannover Messe becomes a part of the work of internationalization. New opportunities for member companies are also opened here.
