World’s tallest timber building

Construction of Mjøstårnet is now completed. The 85.4 m high building was opened in March 2019 and is officially the world's tallest timber building.

Mjøstårnet has a combined floor area of around 11,300 square meters. The building has 18 storeys that include apartments, a hotel, offices, a restaurant, a rooftop terrace and common areas. Next to Mjøstårnet there is a swimming hall about 4,700 square meters in size. This is also built in wood.
